Starter cultures
Due to the semi-perishable nature of our starter cultures, we cannot accept any returns of starter cultures. All sales of starter cultures are final.

Other items
You may return a non-perishable item up to 30 days after you received it. It must be unopened and received by us in good condition. We will issue a refund to the same card you used to purchase the product, minus a restocking fee of 25%. We will not be responsible if a returned item has been damaged in shipping. We can't issue you a refund if we are unable to resell the returned product. Please note that we do not refund shipping fees.

Items damaged in shipping
If you received an item that has been damaged during shipping, please contact us right away. We will file a claim on your behalf. We will need you to send us pictures of the damaged item, as well as pictures of each side of the box that the item was shipped in. Please do not throw away the damaged item unless instructed to do so by us. If you do, we might not be able to help you get the item replaced.

Responsibility for product shipment
Please enter your shipping information carefully. Packages that need to be reshipped due to faulty addresses will be charged for a second delivery. Once an order has been delivered to the shipping carrier, we are no longer responsible for it and cannot change it. Please use the tracking information provided to you when your order is shipped, to track the shipment and retrieve your package promptly.

Delivered but not received
If your package is marked as delivered but you have not received it, we allow 10 days from the date is was marked as delivered for the package to arrive, due to shipping volumes and possible tracking irregularities. If your package has still not arrived within 10 days of being marked as delivered, please contact us for further assistance, or see the following information from USPS: Please note that we are not responsible for thefts or missing orders that are recorded as delivered. Once an order has been delivered to the shipping carrier, we are no longer responsible for it and cannot change it.

Only orders that haven't shipped yet can be cancelled.
If you want to cancel an order that hasn't shipped yet, you have two options:
  1. Store credit: We will cancel your order and issue you store credit for the full amount. This credit doesn't expire and you can use it for future purchases.
  2. Refund to your credit/debit card: If you prefer this option, we will have to deduct the card processing fee (3%) from your refund. We had to pay this fee when you placed your order and we don't get it back when we issue a refund.
