Kefir Soda is a fermented sparkling probiotic beverage made from fruit juice or coconut water.
It's fun and healthy!
You won't find it in the stores. You'll need to make it yourself.
All you need to make Kefir Soda is:
- fruit juice/coconut water
- a sturdy bottle
- water
- Kefir Soda starter culture which is a powder that comes in a sachet.
You mix the ingredients and let the bottle ferment on the counter for a couple of days. That's it.
Even better: You can use some of the resulting drink to make more Kefir Soda instead of using powder from a sachet. This can be repeated over and over.
Get creative and use different juices to make a variety of flavors and hues! Lychee, guava, or grape juice will yield a peachy tint. Apple or pineapple juice will come out golden, mango or orange juice will yield a bright orange result, and berries will result in a light crimson shade.
Kefir Soda is refreshing, probiotic, and naturally bubbly.
You won't need SCOBY, kefir grains, temperature control, second fermentation, or tea.
